Woah, for legal advice yes, but free legal advice? I wonder how they will aim to profit off it... a premium version too?

I think the key here is just enough free legal advice for you to need more non-free advice :-)

... and a letter... and a phone call ... etc

I'd guess either freemium model or they are just that good at sales they can convert a large number after their initial consultation. Great sale though

Given the cuts in Legal aid in the Green paper this week from the Govt this is a savvy move from whoever has bought it :)

And with the government cutting down on the legal aids budget, I think the seller is very lucky here

They will upsell, they always do with the word "free" in them. That's how they make the cash. The first 5 seconds will be advertised as Free, then paying for the rest at £100 per hour knowing them lot.

I sold Freehpi.co.uk (plus site that was ranking 1st) for 2.5k last year and always on the look out for more with the free in them ;)

Yes, I've got freevaluations co uk can't understand for the life of me why an estate agent or businesss sales company hasn't gone for it, free anything is normally a loss leader.

Probably bought by the govt to stop anyone getting free legal advice lol

Probably because techincally estate agents do "free market appraisals". Surveyors do valuations, and they do charge!

I see 'valuation' used more than 'appraisal' when related to the sale of business/property. Often get flyers through the letterbox from estate agents offering a 'free valuation'.
