Some analysis:
- This means garden furniture in German.
- There are high profit margins in garden furniture. It's relatively easy to make compared to normal furniture. It can also command good prices, particularly the larger pieces. That might be related to the fact that the customer-base is relatively wealthy.
- It will work quite well on the internet because it might be quite hard to find exactly what you want at local retailers, so people will look online. Also, because it's big, people will often want it delivered, which I think also improves chances of an online buy.
- Hence there are relatively good profitability prospects for a business targetting this type of product, and you get a EUR 20k sale of the .com domain.
- Domain contains the international character ö
- gartenmöbel.de is in use, it fowards to gartenmoebel.de
- gartenmöbel.com now forwards to http://xn--gartenmbel-kcb.com/. This looks like an affiliate blog to me.
- gardenfurniture.com / .co / .co.uk all taken. Yes, I would have regged any of these if they were available before posting this!
Any comments guys? What do you think of my analysis?
