Sedo Sale: raw.co.uk (15,000 GBP)

Would view as a word, although it is LLL.

These folk - rawtelevision_co_uk (£835,000 profit (2009)).

Seems low for an end user sale for such a calibre domain. The downside of selling through a market place where you don't know who the buyer is.

Agreed. Nice acorn level sale, but end user would have hoped more IMHO.

disagree
lowballers on acorn wouldn't pay anywhere near that in a million years
i doubt a third of that, on a good day
as you and others say, acorn is the bootsale

it's a good domain
but if you look at screenshot at domaintools last time was up seller was saying it was 'appraised' or valued over £10k
if buyer sees that straight away you are limiting what you can negitiate on
based on that surprised he got £15k

plus just because they made a profit of £800k in 2009 as foz is suggesting it's not that much, especially depending on turnover and staff and risks
doesn't mean you can ask £50k for just a domain

looking around, they were prob the main buyer and if that was their max. then...

I thought was solid sale when I saw reported tbh
also see still on sedo ns
not sure if seller switched to sedo recently or buyer came through a broker

Not sure, like a comparableish one I have - eye.co.uk - one word generic LLL. I would imagine shifting it on here wouldnt be hard. Admittedly would be to people via phone, email or other forums, but they are 'on' here too.

Perhaps I need to stop seeing formally active members as the same as active ones :)

I once sold a very comparable LLL for the same price to a similar company.

I thought it looked a pretty good sale for the seller and i'm sure he or she is pretty happy. I appreciate the 'potential' buyer match. But, imagine letting that buyer slip away because of price.

Can't see it having many more "cash-earning" potential buyers lining up at that price

Nice, it was depressing to see LLL.co.uk selling for low lately.
