Also seems likely it was registered to sell with one buyer in mind as it's their brand name..

Looking at ipo website the companies trademark for triangl is showing as opposed though as of 18 September 2013

Just out of curiosity, would it of been cheaper or more expensive to do a DRS rather than the sum they paid? and what are the chances they would of been successful.

2000 Euros is an absolute certainty of aquisition and it's relatively quick. The figure is likely to be similar to the cost of a DRS decision + the cost of the work to prepare the case but with an uncertain outcome. Seems a good outcome for both the buyer and the seller.

They may also be counting on using the domain to help support the case to keep their trademark ("we have the brand, and we have the matching domain...")
