How reliable is the FREE domain price suggestor on sedo? i dont really bother too much with sedo if i am honest but just requested a price suggestion on akita.org.uk and it said 2,000-2,999 GBP.

Any automated appraisal tool is pointless.

Costs nothing to use, worth even less. As has been pointed out, automated appraisal tools don't work, period.

Appraisals are mostly used to scam new domainers or domain owners.

Automatic appraisals are worthless and can only lead to buyer or seller frustration.

The tool is meant to be a marketplace guide/suggestion based on criteria such as search volume, keywords, bids, cpc, tlds available etc etc. It is a starting point at least. Ultimately a domain is worth what a buyer wants to pay for it
