Seeking website partnership or buy out!

Hi all,

I've been dabbling with a free tipping service for football and in the short space of time running the site have had some luck bringing in visitors and subscribers but failing to generate revenue.

At present the site brings in 1200 unique visitors a month and has 160 free subscribers who receive a daily email with a tip and gambling site offers but I'm failing to get people gambling.

I know its not much but its a great start with a lot of the hard work done (twitter feed, facebook page, website). The site is also ranking on pages 3 and 4 in Google which shows potential!

I'm looking for someone successful in affiliate marketing to undertake a partnership with me on this venture. Affiliate marketing is not my strongest area of expertise and I'm looking for someone to turn the potential into profit.

The profits will be split 50/50 and full access to the site, affiliate accounts and anything else imperative will be provided. A contract will be created between my company and any successful applicants to ensure both parties are catered for legally.

Alternatively if you want to buy the site out right I'm all ears!

Is it the football tips website in your sig ? if so i see no sign of any type of call to action to sign up to anything like betfair or betfred ? If i was you i would be giving detailed instructions to do something like :


1. sign up to this bookie
2. sign up to our free tips or premium membership etc
3. Give some platform for feedback on the tips to show punters success stories.

At the moment your generating a mailing list which is great but i feel you should be planting that seed before trying to sell to them through the mailing list.

You'll find alot of people searching for betting tips now days have already signed up to a preferred bookie which makes it hard.

Facebook is a huge pull if you can get an audience , i was following a guy doing a 10k challenge a couple of months ago with Footy Accumulators , starting at £10 and reaching 10k he done it twice which got him huge amounts of followers, huge amounts of sign ups for betfair and all he was doing was betting on relatively safe bets.

With your kind of niche its either spend money on advertising or offer something like above and build an audience/following for being good, if you earn other people money from your tips you'd be surprised at word of mouth on facebook would bring.

I have a Football forum which generates over 2 million page views a month and even then bookie affiliate programs are terrible for converting unless you put the leg work in.

Based on your profit / loss stats on the premium tips, if I'd followed your tips to the letter I'd be £97.21 in profit. Is that right? The graph at the top sort of says otherwise.

However I'd have spent £96 in subscription fees. £1.21. Boom!

Agreed, shutting that part down as the tipsters we were paying were having more bad days than good. The free tips are a lot better, crazy eh!

If you can consistently find solid tips then I think you can definitely justify a paid service.

But I think you need a lot of stats guys behind the scenes to run something like that.
