Newb question:

Am I right in saying, You can't transfer a domain until you have had it for 60 days?

i think you can transfer it seconds after registering it.

I am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong

I think the 60 day rule is for .coms etc

you can still buy/sell it, just not transfer it between registrars.

So if I have one with fasthosts the buyer will have to open a fasthosts account?

ST

If you use GoDaddy, as Decon says you can do it in seconds... All you do is get the buyer to open a free godaddy account and do an intra GD 'change account' push... Works for .com, .net, .org perfect. Not sure about fasthosts but I'm sure their will be some kind of similar system...
