Another 100 SB sites and 6 months later............................................. I can buy a rowing boat and a pedal kart

What about the private reg plate, you forgot !

You just know you'll have to get back on photo shop now

It's a swiz.
How can they call it a yacht when it has no sails? It's a big cabin cruiser!

Whatever, if you can afford one you are probably an Arab oil millionaire - which means you have to take it past Somalia to go anywhere interesting - which means the 55 knots top speed will be useful for dodging the pirates!

Something tells me that would not be a pleasant experience - I remember doing 35 knots on a Seacat on a rough day in the channel once - the only time in my life I actually felt seasick!

I think I'd rather have a hovercraft ...

Don't be silly Crabfoot, if you come across pirates, you can just run 'em over in the car

Someone should invent a kind of mega-Segway cabin levelling device (perhaps incorporating a variant of the tech that keeps tall buildings standing in earthquakes) so that people who have the kind of cash to splash on super-yachts can sit in a "room" that's flat as a pancake even on the roughest seas. Would be pretty cool to look at the waves bearing down on all sides while the drink in your glass doesn't even ripple...

I doubt it would venture into rough seas. There was a programme (Monster Moves) on Five not so long ago that had a large Dutch vessel that was used to transport these kinds of boats around the world, so that the owners could have them in certain areas at certain times of the year, so that they never hit the large oceans.

Ah ha ... found it - http://demand.five.tv/Episode.aspx?episodeBaseName=C5141830001
