I wouldnt bother asking for money.. just a small island will do me.

I would guess you would make more selling on the open market. What is the domain. It might help us to answer your question better.

i wouldn't contact them as they might decide to go down the drs route,

3. Evidence of Abusive Registration,eg regging just to sell on

a very cheap process for a country!
Why not just develop it and let it pay for itself

Just a note on the DRS stuff, does anyone know of any good resources that explains the laws for this and what is and isn't allowed?

Very broadly, you'll always be able to reg and sell generic domains, i.e. domains that contain generic terms, e.g. dvdplayers.co.uk, but what you can't do is attempt to make money by purporting to be someone you're not and using their registered intellectual property, e.g. sonydvdplayers.co.uk.

I personally think visit*countryname* would probably not have a UK registered trademark so you're probably ok, although the UK tourist board does use visitbritain and that probably wouldn't be ok.

Have a look at the Nominet DRS cases to get a feel for the subject and there are plenty of old threads on this forum.
