Hi all,

I have started a new website www.Juicer-Reviews.co.uk. Its been a long time since i launched my own sites and am a bit out of touch with SEO these days. What is the best was to start gaining some traffic and rankings?

Regards
Karl

You need better hosting, improve page speed, write relevant content, gain backlinks. That's pretty much it.

Thanks, Yea in touch with the hot trying to speed things up a bit. Content will be going up regularly, Anyone know a good way to build backlinks?

Cheers
Karl

You need to get your on page, user experience etc up to scratch before you look at doing any external outreach.

Are you using any performance/cache plugins ? Speed isn't that bad other than first time byte. You really don't need to be loading a 2000px + logo at 250kb. It doesnt need to be be any bigger than the largest size it will be across different devices ( unless you get retina warnings and looks pixelated on Apple devices, then just x2 the size. )

Why no SSL certificate ?

Sort out the privacy policy broken links and contact us.

No H1's on any pages other than single post pages, every page needs follow semantic html practices, that includes correct usage of H1

No meta descriptions.

No image Alt tags

Decide how you are going to use categories, tags and author pages.

No Sitemap ? Are you using an SEO plugin ? if not why not ?

No social signals or associated social pages.

Add great content, and filler content for thin content pages.

Lots to do before thinking about external factors.
