Hand regged drop this morning, it has 265 backlinks and used to sell tyres in the high performance tyre market, so I put it on Sedo and it's already had 8 uniques and 3 small revenue earning clicks, presumably there might be some good tyre sales to come from existing traffic to it. There are numerous affiliate tyre retailers to make it in to an earner, please make any offers below, no PM's:

simply tyres .co.uk -(pre reg date 2005) BIN £350 >>> £200 SOLD

Payment by PayPal, buyer pays Nominet fee, immediate transfer.

Has had some more unique visits on Sedo today and a couple more revenue clicks, I'll be sticking an affiliate tyre site on this soon, so get your offers in if you have an interest.

I'll offer you £125 - got to be worth a try for some adsense!

Cheers M4c, sale closes in 20 minutes.

[edit]

Normal 5 minute rule applies to anyone making a bid in the last 5 minutes, that extends the auction for a futher 5 minutes until there are no bids for a 5 minute period.

Doh didnt get an email for this thread! Interested if the new buyer is on here and wants to sell it on, have used the previous ownwers firm in the past and would like to get a tyre site up and running rather than just an ad holding page.

Hi Fletchbog, I assume by that you mean you subsribed to this thread? If so, then there was a forum database error yesterday where PM's and profiles weren't working, so I assume you didn't get any email updates about this thread due to that error :(

so that makes the auction void, so i would do it again to be fair systreg.

I know what you mean Paul, it wasn't his fault that there was a problem with the forum not emailing him, but by the same token, if someone really wants a name, they should make their best offer right from the start, instead of making an offer and waiting to see if they are outbid before making increased offers.

There's no need for a re-run of the auction, name now sold, payment received and domain transferred, thanks for the sale Jason.

Hi yes thats it shame about the database error. I thought it was a fair offer but never mind, as said if the new owner wants to discuss selling please contact me, thanks

A bit unlucky by all accounts sondiering the site errors. I think systreg made the right call though in dealing with this, I agree with his logic. Here's hoping that m4c has a fair approach to considering a new offer from fletchbog.
