Site Loading Issues

One of our sites is loading slowly, for no real reason that we can see.

Anyone used a tool or third party services that can determine what the issues are?

Probably not what you're after, but http://www.webpagetest.org/ gives out lots of information ..... none of which I understand tbh.

it used to tell you what is the problem i:e; image too large or error within the css..but now it just records a time

Few things to think about:
is it on a shared hosting server
are other sites on the server loading slowly
is there any 3rd party content loading on the site, if so can you test load it on another of your domains?
how much traffic is the site getting and is it normal?
