What a nice site!

The only thing I didn't like was the "post your item" button & icon. To the uninitiated it might look like they have to send their tumble dryer through the post ;0)
Would it be better to say "list your item"?

My local council have a good section on recycling & link to the websites of local schemes, like charities that collect old furniture. It might be worth asking a few councils to give you a link on their sites, as you are offering a free service which will reduce landfill.
With the UK about to be fined for missing the EU landfill targets, this is a big issue for local authorities at the moment, as they are likely to be fined in turn by Government.

yes i have a plan, but at moment people still are syaing they find it hard to use so i need to work on that.

i have a few good features coming soon but i think one thing at a time and i will be ok with it

Paullas, You had one of the best sites around BUT you have now over complicated the process for a consumer...the front page is too busy and would not get anyone listing recycle items

im getting quite regular posts and regular members signing up so things are looking good, and not had any compaints over the front page. so maybe i will take a fresh look.

Anyone else think the front page is no good ??

I am giving a truthful opinion on the basis you have a great concept that is one of the best i have seen. With my sites I am working on making sure that within a second my viewers know exactly what they should do...your new site doesnt tell me that.... you should tell me:-

Want to find a good home for an unwanted product? recycle...a greener way to a HAPPY WORLD....list you item here .....buy a green item here

Grandin has made somewhat of a valid point, in the fact that you'd gathered a lot of feedback on the 'look and feel' of the site and made some really nice changes which gave the site a very 'easy on the eye' look. I'm guessing that the current format is due to some integration issues with 'bolt on' applications. It would be nice if you could solve these and get back to the format that you had worked so hard to get to.
