slightly dim person , needs help

hi right im following on from the tread below but there are some things that i just dont understand

i will explain my sit and maybe you can please all hellllp

i want a domain name that is already taken it is re with 123reg
on the whois details it says
Relevant dates:
Registered on: 05-Jan-2005
Renewal date: 05-Jan-2007
Last updated: 10-Jan-2005

Registration status:
Renewal required.

sooooo does that not renew then the name becomes suspended and than after a certain amount of days is released back on sale to everybody.

if this is the case is there a set way of finding out the date (i have tried http://dropdates.co.uk/ but it is telling me that the name is available but when im trying to register its saying it is still traken and the same details above are showing)

from what i am reading i assume there are 3rd partys who will watch and swoop in and buy for you once its available,how much does this cost and is it reliable

if it drops then

Drop Dates for your domain will be 14-Apr-2007 or 07-Apr-2007

Correct, but if the name is any good you will have alot of competition.

You should book a slot with a good drop catcher and cross your fingers (there are some good drop catchers on this forum). the price and quality of the service varies.

Alternatively if you think the name is not one that would be of much use for anyone else you could wait until it is back in the public domain, usually 90 or so days after the drop date

i dont think it will be a really high priority name , but if it is cheap enough i may consider using a 3rd party to secure it , can the 3rd pary get the name as soon as it drops ,i was hoping to have the name sooner rather than later
