Put in a silly bid on slim.info on sedo just to test the water.

An even sillier counter offer came back..... £10,000

ok, you can argue a silly offer gets a silly response perhaps....., but what value would you put on a name like this ??

£10,000 is way over the top but we shouldn't underestermate the popularity of good .info names... I can see plenty of potential in this name myself (I assume you want to target the dieting market Rich?)

In any case low £xxxx would be achievable to the right person. I have a sale going through on Sedo for a four letter .info that isnt even a word for mid £xxx...

I think this is a quality domain and will have a matching price tag. I don't think they are being that unreasonable with their counter offer - optimistic maybe at this time, but not unreasonable on a medium to long term basis.

I was surprised to see Fat.info sell for $6,000 and I'm a big fan of .info. I think Slim.info is easier on the ears and eyes than Fat.info so I can't see anybody getting this for £1,000.

Can't stress enough how single word urls are worth their weight
in gold. I agree with accelerator it's as rare as guitars.info and
in are quality commercial category. Hundreds of millions are spent
world wide on obesity research and dieting.

Slim is a very good keyword. many are looking for information on how to become slim.
