I have two facebook accounts. One for my close friends and family and one for work.
I hate the concept of online friendships when you see these people every day. My family and friends live all over Europe so FB is a great way of keeping in touch. I am testing the "Branch out" in Facebook as i use LinkedIn every day and it has certainly aided me in many of the premium sales. FB is a load of dribble, how bored do you need to be to diarise your life in processes of tediously boring crap "Morning all, have a great day" or "Time for bed"
LinkedIn is a great professional tool to reach endusers, users tend to be more open as it is seen as a networking tool rather than a socialising platform. So far Facebook is a dead end used by tools to glorify their very boring lives or show off their very lucky lives.
Don't get me wrong, a friend of mine spends his entire life posting shit about shit and it is right for him as it gives him the feel good factor.
It just aint for me unless it offers me the potential to make a sale.
