I have a domain that has its NS hosted with Heart Internet and its URL forwarded, however I am finding that, it perpetually slips back to a holding page. HI say they have forced it and then I find it keeps slipping back. The whois shows that the NS is indeed HI and the interface panel shows the link that it should be pointed to! I keep asking HI to resolve this issue and it gets fixed and then breaks.

Any clue?

try restore the DNS to defaults (under domains' DNS managemant page)

have had similar in the past and this did the trick

There seem to be two sets of nameservers at HI:

ns.mainnameserver.com -} these are used with (reseller) hosting
ns2.mainnameserver.com -}

ns.heartinternet.co.uk } default, without hosting
ns2.heartinternet.co.uk }

This domain name has been reserved for future use

If so, you'll need to add it to your hosting (reseller) as a domain and then config from there (either as a redirect on an existing package or as a new domain).

I've got a reseller account and any new domains or domains that get updated/transferred seem to get put onto this holding page.
