I've noticed that the convention seems to be to post a domain name with a space before the extension - for example, people will post "example .com" rather than "example.com". Is this for purposes of clarity, or to stop erroneous clicks compromising the T&Cs or domain parking services? Many parking services seem to include conditions that traffic can only be direct type-in traffic, or through genuine search results, so I had assumed that this was possibly the reason, but then thought I was perhaps overcomplicating things, and it was just to make it easier to scan a posting and pick out domains that are actually useful.

Sorry for the basic question, but I don't really know why you wouldn't want google to index your domains.

I'm sure there are a few reasons eg. If you sell a domain on here for £50, the new owner may not want that sale to be seen by any future buyer as it may affect the sale price etc etc

No, but then its not a click is it, it's a direct type-in :) I think the main reason is to stop domains getting indexed by google as Rob said.

Ah ha. I thought he meant googled as in people copy-pasting into google, not google indexing. Much clearer now! :)
