Nominet Spring Cleaning - Tag Changes on Ex Domains

If I've sold a domain but new registrant hasn't changed tag - therefore it is still on mine, can I just change the tag on the domain to someone else so I know all domains on my tag are mine?

I don't believe you can just change it to another tag without the registrant asking.

I suppose you could detag it - tho not 100% sure...

As you have full control of it I imagine you can change it, not sure if it will trigger an email to the registrant though.
