Offers SPROUT

Apologies for lack of response. I'm afraid this is all new to me. I do not have a figure in mind. I've been told it is worth more than I would have expected but equally it depends on who is making the offer. I am not in a hurry to sell, but given the right amount I would let it go. Let's see what happens.

Hi Jonnie,

Your comment above "I do not have a figure in mind" followed by "but given the right amount I would let it go" says to me you have a figure in mind, lol. You will save a great deal of time (and others) if you simply set a deadline for people placing bids or state what you'd be happy with? otherwise you'll end up with a never ending bid thread and people wondering when its going to end...

Just let people know what your sweet spot is e.g. £1k (or more) and anything over that for you is a bonus! By the sounds of it you didn't expect to be getting offers over £300 so you're already winning ;)

It's nice brandable name so good luck with your sale JW.

Best,
Barry

I offer £1,100 assuming the domain name retains and includes the RoR for the matching sprout.uk. My offer is valid until midnight (just under 4 hours away) UK time. If my offer is not accepted by then it should be considered withdrawn. :) Please email me should you wish to accept and begin transfer procedures.

Probably a bit OTT that, he only registered here on Acorn to promote this one and only domain that he owns because he came to me through my UK domains website and I suggested this as an option for selling. The Seller is not likely to see a 4 hour evening window ultimatum, just saying. I still wish buyer and seller the best of luck.

Invincible being OTT? Well I never ;)

I've no idea what an RoR is I'm afraid. My auction is for the domain itself, nothing attached. My terms for the 'auction / offers' have already been set with a completion date of end Sunday 7th. I am not in a hurry to sell. Thanks for your offer nonetheless.

RoR I believe is "Right of registration" of the .uk equivalent . You see by owning Spout.co.uk you also own the right to register sprout.uk .

Also worth noting the trademark classes which are already covered for the word sprout for those investing for development. Hewlett Packard are the owners of the .com with a trademark among a number of others.
