I've been looking at this recently and wondered if anyone has ever given thought to the possibility that nominet would open up the .uk TLD extension in the future and what this could mean for .co.uk if they did?

Do you think it's likely?

It would be like having to start your portfolio from scratch in getting some of the high brandable .uk extensions. I for one wouldn't want this to happen but wondering if it's a possibility in the pipeline?
