I find it strange that co op are renaming their own brand goods
Loved by us
and have applied for a trade mark but not registered the co.uk

I received this response from a large company liaison

"I've always considered it career limiting to suggest to any CEO
particularly one who created the business that he was overlooking
something"

I wonder if that's the reason so many CEO's get things wrong.

Why it’s a store brand under its own Brand? Different of course if a business is selling to other retailers it matters but there not?

Often there are two reason for “Store Brands “ one it’s a bit better than saying “cheap but higher profit margin” second the national brands Heinz, Cadburys etc build up a market pay for advertising etc you then create, mimic the shape, packaging, and labelling etc give it premium display treatment your quid’s in ?

More on the brand offering here (also, see related posts for more info)

I think the CEO has lots more on their mind at the moment, like the implosion taking place at the coop

The trademark for the new brand was applied for in August, someone was not so concerned with the companies troubles that that could not be done £******.

Nobody registered the co.uk domain name for £5 ( for use or protection )

Exactly, even worse than people think.

They can only raid their other businesses and sell off certain things for so long, happening in front of our eyes yet no one stepping in. Will be on the news next year how bad things are for sure.

Huge holes in barclays and tesco too but big business seems to get away with it and the city seem to turn a blind eye as long as they cut our pensions and take their fees.
