There's that much raw material to report, that trying to keep it to one complaint at a time will be difficult!
 
OK, the stage 2 of this procedure via the ISPA was just about to kick in and hey presto, 123reg email me to inform me that the domains are now in my control panel. Perhaps this is the Achilles Heel ...

The new "protocol" for me is as follows:

Give them 7 days to respond to an e-mail [sent to: "[email protected]," with subject: "123-Pending" plus the service/domain affected], then after 7 days, a further 48 hours to respond to a fax [to: 0115 877 0213] and thence the ISPA [www.ispa.org.uk]

= whole thing solved within 2 weeks
