Why? Do all previous iPads stop working or even start limiting what can be done with them vs. what could previously be done with them? I own a 1, didn't buy a 2 and haven't decided whether I'll buy a 3. Other than perhaps wanting to use Facetime on an iPad, my 1 seems to do all I need.
I'm sure they will release one soon that will only let say a 2 have the new os, just as they have done to the ipod touch's and Iphone's
Plus this on top of the moral argument, about them breaking lots of TM rules, while prosecuting others, having to intsall nets on factories to stop their agents workers jumping to their deaths as so many have.
And to be honest, thats only the tip of the iceberg.
I saw a post on Acorn a few months ago re apple, and it really started to turn me off. Only my opinion of course, and as most are, its possibly flawed.
If you haven't been impressed with iphone 4/4s screen over 3/3gs then you will probably not notice much.
IMO pretty good upgrade considering price is staying the same. Looking forward to upgrading my ipad 1 to it.
A bit annoying when you buy apple product or sign up to a contract and they bring out new version few months later, so better to educate yourself when new version is likely to come out and then make decisions accordingly.. But even old versions is still good products and don't depreciate too much..
