This is all hypothetical, I don't own, nor am I planning to buy any of these domain names, just wondering...

If a domainer owned tweets.co.uk, funnytweets.co.uk, businesstweets.co.uk, etc... They then built a website based around promoting peoples/businesses tweets. As the word "tweet" is a trademark of twitter, would there be any copyright issues with twitter?

Does it make a difference if the domainer doesn't try to make money from the website?

Alternatively (i know it's a bad domain), what about birdtweets.co.uk, a website based on the sounds of birds?

I'm far from an expert but I'd say

tweets.co.uk generic word so safe as long as you stay away from there trademark class. They couldnt touch if for instance you had a website all about bird calls on it

funnytweets.co.uk
businesstweets.co.uk
As they would likely only be used with tere service they could easily take these of you / sue you if they wished

birdtweets.co.uk safe as with the tweets.co.uk example above
