Wanted: Domain Appraisal Thisinsurance dotco.uk had a phone enq about it

Hi,

On friday I got a call about the domain thisinsurance dotco.uk

It was from a small london design firm saying thy are working on a project for a "small" insurance firm who are looking to dev the name thisinsurance dot com and they wanted to buy my name before they start.

I'm not that worried about selling as I tend to keep my domains but if I do sell how should I pitch it?

I was thinking is it unusual for the design firm to approach me - could it be that the small insurance firm is actually bigger than they are letting on?

Any advice would be great

Small might be a relative term. A small insurance company will still be pretty big, and will have decent pockets. Unless they are of the kind that will happily pump £1/2million into a 1 page ad/TV spot/PR party but only want to spend £50 on their domain name...
