Wanted: Domain Appraisal ThriftyCarInsurance (.co.uk)

Just wondered what people make of this name.

I've checked with the IPO and the word 'Thrifty' is trademarked for the class of vehicle rental and leasing, but nothing to do with insurance.

I feel it fits well with insurance, price often being the overwhelming factor when choosing.

I think you have regged a lot better domains.

The fact that you have the words car and Thrifty together is a breach of intelectual property rights, your domain doesn't have to be the same as a trademark only confusingly similar to infringe.

You couldn't have Thomsonholidayinsurance.co.uk could you :|

Thinking about it, it was perhaps a bit of naff reg.

I suppose it could be seen as passing off - Thrifty have branched out into car insurance.
