Just wondered if anyone has gone down the route of buying a few town names against generic names?

And how much luck/revenue with say Adsense or local business advertising on them have you had.

I don't mean directories like www.TheGreatest.co.uk/Leeds I mean LeedsCaterers.co.uk

Have quite a few xxxxxxaccountants, xxxxxxsolicitors, xxxxxxxplumbers, etc etc but not got round to doing anything with them yet.

And did you approach any of the companies if any listed to see if they want to be listed for a small fee?

If you get them to rank No.1 for that term then the job will be alot easier thats for sure!

They are actualy very easy to rank at number 1 aswell for the term/phrase
