Hi,
Just a quick question....I've just noticed in my 123-Reg control panel that there's an option for "internal transfers" of domain names which appears to suggest that any domain (whether .co.uk or .com) can be transferred to any other 123-Reg account holder in what appears to be one simple step......Is this correct?
If so, don't other registrars do this and why do people constantly refer to 'buyer paying nom fees' when selling domains here? Presumably if this is correct then it would be easier for a buyer to simply set up an account with the same registrar and get a free transfer rather than paying £12 to Nominet.
Am I missing something?
