Trying to buy a .com; owner not responding?

How good do you think the domain is? I would phone unless you think it's not that great, otherwise the dropcatch is a gamble.

Think this thread has turned into an appraisal of a name we have no details of, and short of physic ability of either the value of the name, who owns it, whether they still alive or not, are they going to renew it, I think my advice is going to be useless so I'm going to stay out of it.
