Always interested to see what makes the DN Journal Top 20 every week - and always surprised too.

Even allowing for dotcom's larger market appeal, I think it underlines what great value the UK domain name aftermarket currently offers. In fact, looking at other country level domain name sales, the same picture emerges.

Thats because .COM is king and will always be !

Someone is going to regret that .help purchase :p
Unfortunately that sale will now be used as 'evidence' for people asking 5 and 6 figures for thousands of awful domains in terrible extensions.

I wouldn't believe half of the new GTLD sales no one would be that stupid

Voice.com at $30 million is one dotcom and not one of much note that's sale value exceeds the known/published total value of all the UK's top say 20 or even 50 known top domain sales.

Could be so UK's most valuable domains simply don't get sold or data isn't published. But the gulf in values is truly epic and seems to getting worse or better depending on which domains you own. .com is the global standard-bearer.
