Hi, sorry for the newbie question, but I have read that there is a 5 day grace period when buying domains. However, all the the uk registers i have asked say the fee is non refundable even with a typo. also, i ask a us company like godaddy and they say no refund too. So how do i test a domain for 5 days. are uk domains excuded?

thanks in advance for the answer or link

There is no grace period with .uk's.

TAG holders can delete names if they have a legit reason and it is not a common or ongoing pattern.

This rule was specifically brought in to ensure domain tasting didnt occur in .uk .

thanks for the response

so tasting is possible with .com and .net domains? even though godaddy opt out? I have been looking around moniker and can't find anything related to domain cancellations.

i canceled a domain with godaddy the other day, due to a typo.

i emailed their support and they told me how to do it.
however.. i havnt checked to see if they did actualy refund the payment.
