Thinking about using url dot uk for a url shortner (this was the initial thinking behind buying the domain)

Currently we're pulling together ideas about what could make ours stand out from competitors. Are there any features that you'd like to see available - any specific reporting tools that a business could make use of?

As a business, are there any premium features you'd be happy to pay for?

You may have other thoughts about what we could do - all thoughts appreciated.

Thanks, Phil

No, I can't personally see me changing from using goo.gl in a hurry – and as this is generally seen as a free service for short-lived Twitter links, etc, I doubt you'd have much joy trying to charge for something like better-looking shortened URLs in my opinion...

Think he means:

url.uk/RelevantTerm linking to whatever ReleventTerm is rather than url.uk/UnTobspU (both examples). Personally I feel it is too long and a bit too "techie/generic".

Actually I think martin-s second statement, which Philip was quoting, means track statistics about the users who click on the link and then automate posting those statistics back to a designated address.

Serverside posts back to our GA account for tracking would be quite a useful and unique url shortening service.

Ideally created via http calls.
