I was just quite shocked to see a .me.uk on Sedo auction!

It's currently at 60EUR and very much doubt it will get to more ;)

Thought i'd post here since there was a debate over the value of .me.uk's on here the other day.

Cheers

PS.I don't want to be seen to be interfering with whoever is selling the name so I won't post the the domain, although you can see it by going to the future 50% marketplace ;)

As i said in another post the other day

.me.uk =

Coventry.me.uk sold for £20
Printers.me.uk sold for £50

There a waste oftime TBH :-|

explain to me why its a waste of time and you are a donkey for buying one?

are you basing your opionion on the fact they generally don't sell for thousands..?

I agree most are gash but unfortunately for you that statement highlights how little you know or understand domains or the internet because there are a couple of reasons why .me.uk which are useful and generally completly overlooked - and its not the the keyword or the fact its a .uk domain im on about..

I bought Getting Married the other day, it forwards to my Wedding Gifts site, and I also have Cheap Mobile Phones. Let's see if I can achieve some decent rankings with them, then I'll really know if they're worth it, but clearly you can see I think they have potential for running sites on, although selling them is harder as businesses aren't allowed to own them, only individuals.

Rgds
