Seems Vodafone run a similar financial model to my domain investments

Vodafone made a £14.9bn ($27.9bn) loss last year - a record for a UK firm - after writing down the value of assets.

I can't stand Vodafone, not that any of the other UK operators are much better, but they are certainly at the bottom of the pile in my books.
