I have been out of the domain game for a few years now and this is the last premium domain I have left to sell. Would appreciate a realistic up-to-date appraisal for wallets.co.uk
I'd say £500 maximum (or anything you get offered over that) The domain suffers a few issues. Too generic for the 'crypto' wallet space. Selling physical wallets is not a eCommerce store many people will want to start. Low cost, low profit margin product. It's also a 'boring' product.
The above post is probably pretty true to be honest, as you can see by the lack of replies the domain sales market isn't what it used to be.
I think wallets are a good online product. Small, light, potentially high value. Global reach, every bloke has one at some point. I just think it needs some energy and someone who understands retail to make it work. Its not just the domain you own but market credibility and kudos is highly valuable for a start-up.
This is the kind of domain I'd be tempted to build a physical business around. Wholesale distribution of wallets - they don't take up much room and you could easily buy bulk and sell.
I like the name personally but for me personally i like to see a few wallets together b4 i decide which one to choose .i bought my last one in macys in new york 25 dollars on offer if my memory serves me well.was a good few years back. All the best if you decide to sell
I think it's perfect if you can make retail work. Woudn't work for crypto as its plural anyway. @JMI said it perfectly really. Would be worth capitalising on people's fears about card swiping at mo and having a push on shielded wallets.
