On the off chance anyone has something kicking around... We're looking for a web design or development type domain with a strong backlink profile - preferably with high quality links (huffpost, mashable, bbc etc..).

Please note, this is for an experiment we want to run and it's the links we're interested in. Needs to be in this niche though, or one very close to it (a graphic design domain with incredibly strong links would, at a pinch work, a plumbing domain would not).

Not too bothered on the name, preferably generic rather than a really specific firm or ex-firm (eg: London Web Design > John Matterson Ltd). But at the end of the day it's the links that'll win out.

Not really, we're paying for the links more than anything here so it's not like we're looking to shell out a ton for webdesign.co.uk or anything like that. We're willing to pay a fair rate for decent links, let's put it that way.

webdesigning.co.uk and webdesigning.uk
I have not checked for the backlinks, I believe there is nothing as they have been not developed.
But building the links is not a big of an issue. What budget do you have in mind and how much time would I have for the backlinks?

Clue was in the title, Web Design/Dev Domain With Strong Links

read my Post, building the links is not a problem for me.
I did, but it wasn't what the OP asked for at all. If you can build links, do it, but they won't be long established and of quality.

(sorry for the intrusion baldidiot, back on topic)
