The term "web designer" on Google keyword tool:
8100 local exacts
approx. CPC £4.85

However, the name has the hyphen and is an org.uk :(

How much of a difference does the hyphen make, and the .org.uk over a .co.uk ?

Any thoughts appreciated.
Many thanks,
Steve

Can't imagine you would get more that £100 quid for it.

The hyphen kills it...

Agree with Bensd .

I had a web design company a couple of years ago but to build a business on this name is not something I'd do

You'd lose some traffic on the .org.uk but I probably could have lived with that but then the hyphen finishes off any possibility of building a name

The market is so saturated that ranking for the keyword, for adsense or lead gen, would take a very long and costly time

You may find a buyer that could even push up the price but I'd say £250 absolute max

Thanks for all your replies.

helmuc - cheers, if you want to BIN, then it's yours for £1500 ;)

bensd - i agree, thanks for your input, and the follow.

cc976a - thanks - like bensd, I agree. I can see what you mean too - thanks.

So the max. £100 and max. £250 estimations - do you mean end user potential sale figures or through DL/Acorn auctions ?

Many thanks in advance,
Steve
