Interesting! ;)

An internet registry has appointed a new advisory group in a bid to support its proposals to create an online domain name for the country of Wales.

Non-profit organisation Nominet has begun initial discussions with the country's government over establishing a Welsh domain, reports the Western Mail. The .baa domain is poised to cause quite a rumpus within the rightly proud Welsh population and experts predict the take up by farmers, sheep shearers and enthusiastic domainers is likely to be quite breathtaking.

Partnering up with the proposed .baa extension, another domain has also been suggested in the guise of the .coolcymru possibility. This magnificent proposal would give trendy and fashionable Welsh people the opportunity to proudly strut their stuff with a personal domain name.

Other suggested domains that may also make an appearance during 2012 or beyond are the .dewi, .huw and the soon to be popular .KatherineJenkins extension which is sure to be a song for success with many!
