Our moderators

• You are an active member and have been around for a while
• Non-combative, friendly and accept that there are different opinions
• Like engaging in discussions on UK domain investing and/or domain business side

Your Role:

• Accepting/declining new member signups
• Accepting/declining new member posts
• Enforcing our rules fairly and eliminating spam
• Help and advise new domainers to strengthen Acorn

• Experienced Professionals: Moderators with proven expertise in domain name buying, selling, or investing, and experience in domain-related services (e.g., marketplaces, hosting, registrars, IP law). Fresh domainers need not apply - only legitimate pros.
• Loyal and Engaged: Active members with a long-standing commitment to AcornDomains, demonstrating a strong reporting background (e.g., using the report button with clear reasoning and rule citations).
• Positivity is Essential: A “must-have” trait to ensure members come to the forum happy and leave happier, per our core ethos.
• English: Good written English, tailored to our UK audience, is non-negotiable.
• Company Representatives Welcome: Firm affiliates may apply though must maintain the equal opportunities rule for all members.
