A few new extensions available these days. I'm just surprised that .co.uk can be bought for £1.99 yet .tv is £8.99...the same as .com

I've got a .tv myself but only because it's geographical. Otherwise are they really worth buying as an investment?

I quite like the .tv extension but I think the domain needs to be quite good to attract attention. The domain looks good on TV ads and I think the public have now come to recognise the extension. We invested in a few .TVs a couple of years ago including:

motorinsurance
ferries
breaks
carcredit

and a few more. I think they'd all look good on a TV ad but no-one has come knocking on the door yet.

Cheers for your reply. I noticed that chelsea.tv sold for over £600 but I thought it would make much more than £1k. It was sold on ebay but I think also advertised on Sedo.

I'm surprised finance co's like yes car credit haven't come knocking.

Not really being into domaining I just dabble and thought that this .tv domain (sort of) made sense if you're looking for a new telly. It really needs developing but time and money aint on my side at the mo ...

I think .tv has a big future - TV is the same in lots of languages and as more of us watch a computer screen instead of a TV screen, .tv will take on a life of its own.
