Can someone tell me what a 'neutral body' is. as ive emaile nominet today and asked them to pass on some details and they said they cannot as they are a neutral body ???

hope someone can put my mind at rest and explain what it is :)

If you are an individual and has no power then Nominet is a neutral body. However, if you are backed by a big company and good relations with Nominet, it is a "pro-active" body.

...This is funny - Nominet a 'neutral body' in regard to .uk domains - Never - Couldn't happen - in fact it's a fallacy, whatever they try to tell you. ;)

A court in most cases can be a 'neutral body' (but not always)!

I could tell you a recent story about Nominet along these lines - but I'll save it for now. :mrgreen:
