What is an "exact"

I'm really going to show how little I know about domains now, when people say a domain has 400 exacts, what do they mean?

I assume it is something to do with Googles keyword tool, and I know what 'locals' are, but just not sure how you find how many 'exacts'.

I wouldn't worry, it took me long enough to find it and I knew what I was looking for
