Low £xxx most of the people that search for whisky online would normally go for brands and the distilleries tend to market by brand recognition so can’t see them being interested, unless it’s just to redirect to there brands? Nearly all the domain extensions have been regged but can’t think of any that have been able to sell to a distillery or that actually sell it

If you tried the smaller island distilleries e.g. on mull tobermory etc or the tourist boards you may be able to push to £xxxx or some of the none uk countries emerging markets - especially in Asia and Latin America china the distilleries are pushing these lower pound etc May find better chance of a sale there

For some reason the Irish producers always spell it with an 'e', perhaps to distinguish it from the Scottish ???

Yeah the americans adopted it from the irish no doubt due to the massive influx of irish into america in the early days.

I think its just a locality thing, lots of irish words are slightly differently spelled cobh/cove, middleton/midleton for example
