Just noticed that my .com provider has pushed prices up to $14.99 from $11.50. I know there was a small increase in the base cost, but who are everyone else using and what are you paying?

Godaddy, just keep trying the codes... Usually get a decent discount every year I renew

Moniker.com have worked well for me the last few years.

I've had trouble with godaddy in the past and it's annoying how they try to upsell you on hundreds of things before checkout.

Name.com $10.99 but have loads of codes floating around.

Wouldn't go anywhere else, support is first class

godaddy
for renewals of .com you will never pay over $8.67

many codes that never expire

bacon3
is one example

plus if you don't have many there are many transfer in codes regularly around for even less to gradually transfer over

Was just about to say this. Any time I need to renew a domain with Godaddy I find a code that let's me renew for in or around $8 which isn't too bad at all. Might take a couple of attempts with different codes but it only takes a few minutes to do.

I'm still with Godaddy despite loosing my Exec account status. Still honouring the 45% renewal discount - so hard pushed to leave. I do like (or should I say familiar with) the interface, Except when you want to cancel anything. (Then it's a performance , and time-consuming)

Lots of anomalies that you just have to get used to also over-time. Not sure they would be my first choice starting-out though
