Hi guys/gals.

Someone is being a more than a bit naughty with a .com, it seems like a former employee is forwarding the .com version their former empoyers .co.uk to their competing business.

How would you get the registrants details with alerting them to your intentions?

In my experience if you email the address on the whois privacy the message does get through to the registrant. Open a line of communication with them anonymously, perhaps a large enough offer to purchase will get their attention. They will then have to respond to you with contact details from an email address and possibly provide enough info for you to begin your detective trail.

An offer isn't an option, many gTLDs haven't been registered so it would be too obviously where the offer is coming from
