I have a few celebrity domains (just for example www.britneyspears.co.uk) and yesterday and today when I have posted then on wikipedia they keep getting deleted off by someone ?

Has anyone else experienced this ?

Yes, sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you are not. Putting a link on Britney Spears wiki page will result in having it deleted pretty fast.

Putting links on less popular pages can work sometimes.

thanks for that Mat

I kind of guessed it was minor celebrities so to speak.

Who monitors them then to get them deleted so quick ?

Hey domainseller,

your link does'nt work to your domain name, it goes to some kinda hosting site.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester might be worth a punt for you Domainseller, I think ITV has picked up the rights to the Gossip Girl series

They do not allow you to post your own sites, so that could be the reason.

How would they know if it's your own site or not?

Obviously, if it's a crappy looking site, then it would be deleted from Wikipedia, but if it's an informational, well designed site, it might stay on

They must just check with the details you have on your account with them, as I have posted my own sites before and they take them down after a day.

Then on the other hand I have had other people post my sites, and they are live for a week or two and then removed.

It is very hit and miss with them.
