Hey guys,

Just installed Windows 7 beta on a spare PC, seems to run pretty fast but can hardly tell the different between 7 and Vista Ultimate.

Anyone else using it yet?
 
yes win 7 uses 1,8287373332003093,8378383883833 of ram to start and vista uses 3,834838947397483783,39878374837483 of ram to start and a week in spain while it gets past boot screen... :rolleyes:

we have both, on a serious point 7 is faster... but as they are both based on windows 2000 (the best!) with crap added they will always be slow!

lets hope the final 7 is better than the beta... :D
 
yup, running on my laptop. Seems faster than Vista on the same machine, and just seems to feel right, where Vista felt wrong. I like it. Runs everything I've tried so far.

Lappy is a fairly old Tosh M200 tablet, with a 166MHz Centrino, 768Mb RAM and a 60Gb drive
