For those interested, There have been beta versions (milestones) of Microsoft's latest operating system floating around over the past 12 months, they are beginning to open up to the press and hint at further details as new builds are released.
Desktop and handheld devices look to be in complete sync, all very touchy-feely, cloud based roaming profiles. Those familiar with Windows 7 mobile devices will be at home, as the new OS adopts the same feel with the touchable live tiles. Downloadable and custom Windows applications.
Microsoft among many other companies continue to dispute Apple's "App Store" trademark. What ever the outcome there will be some form of "Application store" built in.
