Bad idea saturday night finishes imho. I would of gone a fair bit higher but the pub beckoned.

This is why I lurk on ebay looking for deals that end during major sporting events and fri/sat nights and sunday mornings :)

I debated £400 at 21:59 but I don't like the letters much, in hindsight I could have flipped to at least 2-3 people on this thread alone, where as now Rob has it its going no where :P

On mine they show slightly different sometimes, sometimes they show exact sometimes there -1 minute, once was -2 minutes. I assume its down to processing time, so if the form starts processing at 11:45:54 and finishines at 11:45:24 then there will be 1 minute difference the same for longer processes.

I havent really paid attention to it.

Auction Criteria:
Deadline - 10th Jan. 2009 22:00 GMT.

We can debate all we want..... but in actual fact I had won it in real time. I realised to late that the acorndomain time is +1:00 GMT (as stated below in the footer) and adding the +5mins server processing time the time stamp shows my bid was placed at 23:05.

But whatever happens, happens for the best as they say it because, now thinking about it (and honestly not saying that because I lost), I really don't know what I would have done with it, if I had won, apart from parking it!

Totally agree with Skinner, not the best letters/ combination of letters, thus I think it will take a really long time to resell to an end-user. So don't think its a quick return investment. I'd probably get a lot more money in interest (even with the recent rate cuts!) by leaving this money lying around at NatWest! :D

Anyone else have an opinion they wanna share?

I think thats the danger with sniping, you win some and lose some and overall it all balances out. I just hope I dont miss a cracker due to this!!

Absolutely........
Agree 100%.

Please don't be offended/ disheartened by my post.

All the best and I hope you achieve as high as possible... the sky's the limit!

I like your optimism!

By the way Rob you have a really good portfolio of domains, I do have my eyes set on one but you don't want to sell it...... :(

Yes - not decided on that as am keen to keep it as well... 1.30am... not best time to decide :)

Thanks to foz for nice quick + smooth transaction :)
